However long or short, exhausting or plain sailing your journey has been to grow your little baby it is such a monumental time, I am here to capture it for you.

Newborn photography is so diverse from one photographer to another, you really have to look at the galleries and get a feel for who is right for you. When choosing the right person to photograph your baby, apart from how they look overall - you should consider if they are trained and insured, safety is paramount, that they have understanding of babies and issues that may arise through childbirth so they can accommodate within your session.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Once you have secured your session, I will send over your welcome pack which is filled with 'what expect' info. Everything from, what to bring, parking details, how long to expect to be with me, turnaround times etc. When you arrive at my studio, take a seat, I'll pop the kettle on - relax and we'll chat about your session. I tend to get baby into their outfit then pass them back to you for a feed or top up feed, even if they've recently fed, if they are full up, it gives a really good chance to get those beautiful sleepy poses. I start with wrapped poses and move on to the beanbag/posing table.
I am 100% baby led and if baby is unsettled, needs a feed, doesn't like a position or just wants a mama hug - then we pause and wait until they are ready to carry on. Newborn shoots can take anything from 1 hour to 3hrs. So bring snacks! Bonus points if you bring me one! 

AFTERWARDS
If you have agreed to model release (You are happy for me to share images on my business socials) a sneak peek will be shared to keep you going while the edit is completed. Turnaround time is 2-3 weeks.
